Indian Hills Camp "Discovering God’s Truth Through Nature"
The AWARE curriculum was developed by Indian Hills specifically for Sixth Grade Camp. This curriculum allows students to spark new interests, build self-esteem and become more AWARE of the key role each of them have in their society, natural environment and relationship with Jesus Christ.
7th Grade
Catalina Island Marine Institute at Cherry Cove
CIMI's educational programs are interactive and adventure oriented. On the water, students will have the opportunity to snorkel and sea kayak along the Catalina coastline. On land students are offered the opportunity to see and touch marine organisms as well as explore the island's unique ecology and terrestrial environments. Evening programs provide experiences in astronomy, squid dissection, night snorkeling, environmental games, campfires and other exciting activities.
8th Grade
Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. Surrounded by forests, meadows, lakes, streams and breathtaking views, students spend a week in the outdoors learning about ecology, geology, astronomy, zoology and survival skills. Activities to strengthen self-esteem and teamwork are designed to enhance our traditional school academic program, and teach about the world our Lord has created.
