My sincere thanks to Mrs. Wehsener and Mrs. Pappas for leading the lesson about our fourth Art Master, Edgar Degas. All four projects will be on display Friday as part of Celebration of the Arts, along with the showcasing of lots of musical talent. Don't miss it!
I would also like to thank Mr. Hendrikx and Mrs. Wehsener for helping set up the stage. The operetta is less than a month away! Memory for the weeks ahead will be to learn the words to the speaking parts and songs! We still need lots of pirate paraphernalia!
As promised, the fifth graders will be reviewing the states and capitals that we learned at the beginning of the year. We will split them in half. The test on the western half of the U.S. will be Friday, May 17th.
I need to firm up our reservation for our field trip to Legoland on Tuesday, June 10. The cost is $12.00 for student or adult. Please email me if you want to be a chaperone/driver, so that I will know soon how many adults to plan on. Thank you!
This is a special weekend as we celebrate the confirmation in faith of nine young people as well as Mother's Day! And more joy as we thank God for the healing touch of doctors for Jake and Chris at the time of their accidents as well as for Hunter's sister Hannah and successful eye surgery. Have a great weekend! |
